Pastor Dewayne Ramsey moved to Dayton in November 2001 with his wife Melody, and children, Micah and Bethany-Noel, to begin ministering at Community Bible Church. In 2008 his family grew by five as God brought Alishia, Isreal, Enrique, Nathan, and Yasmine to be a part of the Ramsey clan. By 2009, Dewayne was able to complete his Doctorate degree in Church and Para-Church Executive Leadership through Denver Seminary. His passion is to create an authentic Christian Community where individuals can reach their full maturity in Christ. His “life verse” is Colossians 1:28-29–“We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.”
Elders:
We have purposed to follow a Biblical Eldership model for church leadership, with Elders and Deacons serving side-by-side in the course of accomplishing our mission of making whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ. The men who serve in this capacity meet the Biblical qualifications as listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, and are furthermore recognized publicly by the congregation– KC Kuykendall, Paul Mackay, Mike Strang, Robert Yutzy.

Deaconesses:
The Deaconesses of CBC have the responsibility of shared leadership in meeting the particular needs of women in our congregation. These women, too, meet the Biblical qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, and the public recognition of the congregation– Kris Kuykendall, Melody Ramsey, Korinda Wallace, Julene Tackett.
